Variations
Individual rug measurements may vary +10cm or -10cm from any of the standard sizes.
Not all rugs are perfectly straight or square, especially hand made rugs from India and China

When placing a rug in your room we believe it will appear at its best surrounded with a border of floorboards, without too much furniture placed on the rug. Generally speaking, the more you can see of a rug the better it will look, and the more rug you cover the less impact it will have.

The rug should enhance the appearance of the floor and the floor should show off your rug. It is not neccessary to fill an entire room with a rug, and a rug will often look best with furniture around it, rather than on it.

An easy way to determine which size will best suit your room is to fold out a sheet or blanket to the standard rug sizes.
